Tindari Shrine

Ancient Tyndaris, the Shrine of the Black Madonna, a wooden sculpture that recalls legends and strong local devotion.

Small lakes of Marinello

Visible from the Belvedere of the Tindari Sanctuary, the small lakes of Marinello are an oriented nature reserve and can be reached on foot via a path or from nearby town of Oliveri.

Greek Theater of Tindari

For those who love both archaeology and nature, the archaeological area of ancient Tindarys can be seen here. A Greek colony founded in the 4th century BC. The Greco-Roman theater, which still hosts important performances, and the Roman baths with its fine mosaics testify to the prosperity of this place in ancient times.

Aeolian Islands

The seven sisters of the Mediterranean give not only an enchanting sea, but also culture, history, and art. Each island is remembered for its characteristics: Lipari and its rich archaeological heritage; Salina and its vegetation; Alicudi and Filicudi, the furthest from the hustle and bustle of summer tourism; Panarea, with unforgettable views; and finally, the two volcanoes at Stromboli and Vulcano. The islands can be reached by hydrofoils and scheduled ships departing from Milazzo.

Roman Villa of St. Blaise

In the village of the same name, a hamlet of Terme Vigliatore, lies a treasure discovered in the 1950s. The villa has a spa facility and private rooms decorated with interesting mosaics typical of a luxury villa of the imperial age.

Jalari Park Museum

In the town of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, the 35-hectare park recreates the life of yesteryear with craftsmen's items inside faithfully recreated workshops surrounded by more than 40,000 trees. Stone is the foundational element of the park. Along the avenues stone sculptures and fountains take you on a complete journey of self-discovery.

Furnari Archaeological Museum

The Archaeological Museum of Santi Funari was born out of the need to give the proper and permanent location to the grave goods and archaeological artifacts found in the Necropolis of the ancient city of Abakainon, which stood in the territory of present-day Tripi.

Alcantara Gorge

The formation of the Alcantara riverbed dates back to about 300,000 years ago, however, the current appearance of the river in the Gorge section dates back to flows that occurred in the last 8,000 years.
